Black Stars win last group stage game against Guinea Bissau to finish top of group F

The Black Stars of Ghana finished first in group F after a 2-0 win over the Djurtus of Guinea Bissau in their last group stage game on the 2nd of July, 2019 at the Suez Stadium, Egypt.
The senior national team topped the group with 5 points, 2 goals.Jordan Ayew’s 46th and 72nd minute goal from Thomas Partey aided the Black Stars to progress to the round of 16 scrapping the possibility of playing Nigeria who finished as runners up in group B.
The Black Stars will now play the runners up in group E, Tunisia on Monday, July 8, 2019.
