Covid-19: Hon. Kpodo donates 5000 pieces of disposable face masks to HTU

As part of his continuous effort to expand the fight against Covid-19 in his Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Komla Kpodo, MP, Ho Central, in the Volta region has donated 5000pcs of disposable face masks to Ho Technical University, HTU, on Monday, February 8, 2021, in a short ceremony at the GM Afeti Auditorium of the University.

Hon. Kpodo in a short address, urged parents and the school authorities to also do their best in providing more basic Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to the students, to complement government’s effort to fight the deadly virus.



He further asked that, there should be more education about the disease and its preventive measures.

Other tertiary institutions within Ho Central Constituency namely; University of Health and Allied Sciences, Evangelical Presbyterian University College, Nurses Training College, Ghana Communication Technology University, School of Hygiene, Government Secretariat School and Community Development Vocational Institute, were also donated the face masks, totalling 22,500 pieces.



Prof. Ben Q. Honyenuga, Vice Chancellor of Ho Technical University, was full of appreciation for the kind gesture by the Ho Central MP.

He appealed to Hon. Kpodo to help ensure that more education is done in the Ho Market for the market people and everyone to be safe.
