The Apostolic Church Ghana in collaboration with telecommunication giants, MTN has handed over a barbershop to the Ghana Prisons Service in Ho on Thursday, August 17, 2023.
President of the Apostolic Church, Apostle Dr. Aaron Amin-Narh and Retail Experience Manager of MTN in the Volta Region, Mawunya Agogoe commissioned the facility that is expected to generate revenue to enhance the quality of meals served inmates of the Ho central Prisons.
The two institutions pulled together resources to build and furnish a single room with barbering equipment estimated at a cost of Eight Thousand Cedis (GH 80,000)
Deputy Director of Prisons, Raphael Tuekpe expressed their appreciation to the sponsors for the kind gesture, which he believes fits very well into the plans of the service to improve the skills and general wellbeing of inmates.
The Ho Central Prisons was established in 1948.
