A 9th minute goal by Prince Gbadago was enough for the first radio station in the Volta Region, Volta Premier FM to beat Volta Star Radio in an anniversary fun game on Wednesday October 27, 2021 at the premises of the state broadcaster.
The two stations are marking 25 years of broadcasting this year and the games were meant to bring staff of both sides together to discuss issues of common interest to the media fraternity whilst having fun.
Staff also entertained themselves in Table Tennis, Ludo, Draughts, Playing Cards, among others.
Volta Premier started operations on July 19, 1996 and Volta Star on November 16, 1996.
Volta Premier launched its 25th anniversary on July 30, 2021 with planned activities in Sports, Debate, Home Coming and Durbar.
