VMAs On Point – Sammy Flex

The maiden edition of Volta Music Awards(VMAs), a show to honour and celebrate artistes from the region took place at Ho Technical University on 10th March, 2018, hosted by Korku Lumor and Elorm Priscy.

In an interview with Bright Ellis on Global Drive’s #PostVMABlues segment, Sammy Flex the PRO of Zylofon Media who was a distinguished attendee stated he’s proud to have witnessed the event, “Anytime history will be written about Volta Music Awards, my name will come up somewhere.

I enjoyed every bit of it, from award winners, attendance, sound, performers and the MCs. Everything on the night was on point”, he said.

Amidst the quality organization of the event, Sammy Flex admonished security around the stage, “The only thing I wish moving forward needs to be worked on is security on the stage. Security protecting the stage was not up to the task for me.There were loose points that everyone could walk onto the stage–at a point someone came on stage and said things that were discouraging to the scheme. These were my low moments”, he concluded.

However, he presented the ‘Artiste of The Year’ award with a cash gift from ‘Zylofon Cash’. He used that opportunity to preach about the Zylofon Cash agenda and advised creative individuals to use the initiative to their advantage.
