HTU Partners Stanbic Bank to Support students’ Business Initiatives

Ho Technical University has on Monday June 21, 2021 signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Stanbic Bank to help scale up business ideas of students into commercially viable ventures.

The support, under the Stanbic Aspire Business Academy facility would liaise with the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology of the University to offer online support, mentorship, face to face seminars and business pitching opportunities to interested students for funding within a 12-week exercise.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Ben Q. Honyenuga and the Registrar, Dr. C.K Amehoe signed on behalf of HTU whilst Stanbic Regional Manager, Malike Nyamador and Malwine Amenu, Ho branch Manager, did same for Stanbic.

In a brief remark, the Vice Chancellor stated, “our dream is to put more students into the incubator and in doing that, we need more support. We want to remain reputable across the world”.

This partnership promises improved prospects for students in HTU Incubator upon stepping into the corporate world.
