Premier News Desk

Beginning, 31st January 2024, registered religious denominations at Ho Technical University shall have their turn to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed.

The Christian denominations have been allocated Wednesdays and Thursdays each week from 5:20 am to 5:50 am on the program, “Showers of Blessing.” The Muslim students shall take their turn at the same time every Friday on a programme, “Aqeeda.”

Leaders of the religious groups have undergone two separate orientation sessions facilitated by the heads of programmes, marketing, and technical to prepare for the smooth takeoff of the broadcasts.

The manager of the station, Esther Naa Adjeley Mensah, says the allocation of time to these groups is to encourage more student participation in the station’s programmes.

“Our plan is to offer more opportunities to our students to learn, participate in our broadcasts, share knowledge, and prepare for the world of work. Our next focus will be to give more time to those in music.”

Participating denominations are: Protestant Union (PU), Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA), Catholics (PAX ROMANA), Christ Apostolic Students Association (CASA), and Ghana Muslim Students Association, (GMSA)
