In a bid to enhance cleanliness and aesthetics on campus, the Ho Technical University (HTU) enlisted the services of Deltee Limited, a private cleaning company, three years ago. Since then, the company has undertaken the responsibility of maintaining the cleanliness of the university’s male and female hostels, Adaklu hostel, some selected offices, and washrooms.
Deltee Limited’s scope of work extends beyond mere cleaning duties; the company is also tasked with beautification efforts, including weeding and trimming flowers to enhance the frontages of university hostels. The dedication and passion exhibited by the company’s workers have not gone unnoticed, as they consistently deliver high-quality services while adhering to punctuality.
The Impact of Deltee Limited’s commitment to excellence is evident in the transformation of the hostels and office washrooms under their care. Previously, students and staff lamented the unhygienic conditions of the washrooms, hindering their usability. However, with the intervention of Deltee Limited, these facilities are now consistently clean and well-maintained, fostering a conducive environment for all occupants.
Moreover, the company’s efforts extend to the beautification of the university’s surroundings, with meticulously groomed lawns and vibrant flower trees adorning the frontage of the male and female hostels. When questioned about the driving force behind his team’s exceptional performance, the Supervisor, Mr. Brain Kwashie, of Deltee Limited attributed it to a combination of factors. He emphasized the importance of the company’s livelihood being intricately tied to the quality of their work, instilling a sense of purpose and responsibility among workers. Additionally, he highlighted the role of good orientation, and training programs in equipping employees with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
